If Camden had a beating heart, the Roundhouse would be right at the centre of it. Originally built in 1847 as a turntable for steam trains, it soon realised that trains were far too much trouble and turned its attention to more interesting pursuits. With that perfect mix of industrial charm and creative chaos, it thrives as a cultural hotspot, welcoming artists, poets, and people who nod thoughtfully while secretly wondering when the interval is.
On Tuesday 18th February 2025 however, it hosted probably the funkiest, coolest duo there is: Honne. Their name says it all. Japanese for “True Feelings” this band is huge in Asia but still low key in the UK, which made this gig even more special. This British duo weaves dreamy electronic beats with heartfelt lyrics, creating the kind of songs that make you want to dance in the kitchen or take a midnight drive with the windows down. Honne is like a warm hug in musical form.
