About Us

We are travel, books, movies and coffee lovers.

This blog was born on holiday as we sat by the sea drinking espresso. The name came to us from one of the most iconic lines from Friends “we were on a break” and so the shortened version ‘on a break’ seemed genius (we hope you agree).

We are not trying to be the best out there but we will strive to be a non-pretentious guide to your next destination.
